Refugee Foster Families Needed: Informational Meetings

Over 450 refugee and immigrant youth are waiting for a foster home after being forced to flee their countries. We are also anticipating an increase in the number of unaccompanied youth entering our care, so it is critical to find loving, temporary homes for the teens who hope to reunify with family, or long-term foster families for teens integrating into our community. With your support, youth can prosper and thrive while maintaining their cultural and religious identities. Bethany is committed to walking with you every step of the way on this journey, so if you are ready, we look forward to helping you learn and answering your questions. Bethany’s supporters are just as diverse as the youth in our programs, so we welcome all to learn. There are varying levels of commitment to get involved, and the first step is to simply attend a free, no-commitment Information Meeting. Our next meeting in-person is March 29th at 12 p.m. at Madison Church North and our next virtual meeting is April 4th at 6 p.m. You can register and find additional dates at www.bethany.org/GrandRapidsEvents.
