The Facilities Committee would like to provide an update to the congregation for the brick repairs.
- Phase 1 from last year will have the coating touched up after the secondary tuck pointing was completed last fall.
- Phase 2 will begin this spring with coating removal, masonry repairs, and new coating applied.
- Phase 1 appears to be holding up well at this time. We hope that once the second phase is complete and the coating is all even, we will have long term stability in these areas as well.
- Phase 3 will be scheduled for Spring of 2023 or 2024.
Also note that the West Narthex doors are requiring repairs, as a new door closure was ordered and is being delivered. There is also an issue with the lower jamb on the southern door of that area. Once those are adjusted, we will have them open and available.
