In addition to our core missions, we share ministry with a number of other organizations in our community and world through our Mission Partnerships Committee.
Cuba
Westminster partners in Cuba in two ways, with First Hand Aid and with Güines Presbyterian Church. With First Hand Aid, we support work to bring food and medical care to the vulnerable older individuals. First Hand Aid works with and through a team of Cuban staff who enact these ongoing ministries.
In order to safely deliver medicine, supplies, and financial support, we gather a group annually to travel to Havana and Güines. The portion of our time with our siblings of faith at the Güines Presbyterian Church centers on our shared faith and deepening relationships. In this time together we seek to discover how we can partner with one another in ongoing shared ministry.
First Presbyterian Church of Benton Harbor
We have a close relationship with the First Presbyterian Church of Benton Harbor. For over a decade we’ve been sharing ministry with them and partnering in projects in Benton Harbor and Grand Rapids. Our two youth groups meet together a number of times a year.
Community Partner Events & Opportunities
Thanksgiving Ingathering
We will be collecting non-perishable food donations for the Westminster Downtown Food Pantry. Donations can be brought to the church on or before November 23.
Together West Michigan Candidate Accountablity

Cuba Medicine Collection
Sundays, December 10 & 17 A group of Westminster folks are traveling to Cuba in January. They will deliver much needed medicine and other supplies
