- Session approved a proposal from the Mission Partnerships Committee to serve as the partner congregation of United Christian Campus Fellowship (UCCF) and support its application for a New Worshiping Communities Seed Grant. A partnership of local Presbyterian, Methodist, and Evangelical Church in America congregations, UCCF serves students at Grand Rapids Community College, Kendall School of Art and Design, and Grand Valley State University.
- Session voted to sign on as a Matthew 25 Congregation to encourage Westminster’s current ministries and foster new ones. Matthew 25 is an Initiative of the PC(USA).
- Beginning this September, Session meetings will take place on the first Tuesday of each month.
