Lent Retreat: Holding Silence

After dinner on Friday, we will enter the Great Silence together through the night and into the next day. In rest, with gentleness, with playfulness, with space to listen and be—Rev. Jen Porter will lead us through this shared space.
Book of Days: Lent Book Group
Wednesday during Lent, March 12 to April 16 at 11:00 a.m. in person or 7:30 p.m. online
Neil Douglas- Klotz offers an Aramaic translation for selected Bible verses, many from the book of Matthew. With each one, he provides an interpretation of its meaning, explains the range of key words in the verse, and suggests a way to pray with the verse, often using breath prayer. The daily readings are short, but the concepts are deep enough to contemplate all day and beyond. Each week of Lent, the group will discuss the themes which flow through these daily readings. Books are $10. Sign up before March 2 to order a book. Click here to sign up!
