On September 9 every year, the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) recognizes International Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) Awareness Day. Many of you may be aware that a group of young adults and parents who are navigating FASD gather at Westminster for conversation, support, connection, and information sharing. They encourage you to look up FASD and send a letter of advocacy to your local politician in support of the FASD Respect Act. A group of young adults will be available after the service this Sunday to talk more about their experience and other ways to help.
