We’re in need of twelve to fourteen new ushers to share the Westminster welcome during worship services in the fall!
Each usher is assigned to a team and can chose to usher at either the 8:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. service. On an average Sunday, twelve to fourteen ushers are required. Usher teams rotate their service throughout the year: Team A serves in January, April, July, and October; Team B serves in February, May, August, and November, and Team C serves in March, June, September, and December.
Ushers are asked to come to church twenty-five minutes before the service starts, as well as usher one Christmas Eve service and volunteer as possible for other services like Ash Wednesday and Maundy Thursday. Ushers can also volunteer to provide service at any memorial services held in the sanctuary.
