Westminster is one of the 2020 recipients of this grant which supports renewal and reflection for both congregation and clergy. As Rev. Jen Porter begins her sabbatical over the next four months, our congregation also enters a time of supported renewal and connection—which is well-timed as we enter into spring!
For the congregation, this Lilly grant will support some planned summer gatherings for the congregation to also “explore, reflect, and drink again from God’s life-giving water.” This Lilly grant also supports coverage of staffing Rev. Jen’s ministry roles and includes a preaching honorarium for a few Sundays this summer. Thank you to the CTS, Center for Pastoral Excellence and the Lilly Endowment for making this possible.
