Honolulu House Museum: The Honolulu House was built in 1860 and was styled to be reminiscent of where the owner lived in Hawaii. The building’s architecture is a unique blend of Italianate, Gothic Revival, and Polynesian influences. It stands in the heart of Marshall’s National Historic Landmark District and is listed on the Historic American Buildings Survey.

Governor’s Mansion Museum:  A well-known attorney and politician was confident that Marshall would become the state capital and that he would be Governor.  As he was running for this office, he built what we now call the Governor’s Mansion Museum high atop what the city called ‘Capitol Hill’.  After his term as Governor, he continued to live with his family in this house.

US Postal Service Museum:  Key artifacts include old post office window units and lock boxes, early 1900s horse-drawn mail buggies, inner-workings of a railway mail car, the first postage stamp and earlier stamps, V-mail (WWII letters), a 1931 Model A mail truck, and more. This unique museum shows life has changed in the past century and a half. This is the second largest postal museum in the US, with 3 mail buggies and 3 vehicles on display.

Schuler’s Restaurant was established in 1909 and has been a staple in the community for over a century.  Originally a small tavern, it evolved into a full-service restaurant known for its fine dining.  Schuler’s has undergone several renovations to maintain its historic charm while modernizing its facilities.  The establishment is known for its commitment to local ingredients and community involvement.  It has received numerous awards and recognitions for its culinary excellence and service.

WPA is Westminster’s fellowship ministry for adults (55+), who may or may not be retired. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
