We pray the Lord’s Prayer each week, it is certainly familiar. For three weeks we will renew our experience of this bold prayer of hope and trust. Whatever the reality of the world, weekly, daily, we root ourselves in the power and presence of the God of all creation. We will seek to hold this prayer anew exploring its expression of critical hope, its context, our experiences, and how the striking Aramaic translation can shift our settled familiarity.
