Last Things First: A Critical Look at Living Out the End Times

*Set an alarm so you don’t sleep through the Rapture.
*Don’t take an Uber from the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
*Train for the Tribulation; It’s more of a marathon than a sprint, but sprinting may be needed.

Regardless of what your end times game plan looks like, it’s clear that when we talk about current events or the state of the world, folks have plenty to say about the anti-Christ, the mark of the beast, or the impending Armageddon. These reflect a particular theological framework for making meaning. But much of how we live today is informed by how we understand what might happen tomorrow, or in this case, at the end of all things. This class will examine the relationship between ethics and eschatology, or our theology of the last things, with a focus on poverty, geopolitics, and environmental stewardship. Join us for some shared revelation; don’t get left behind!
