Fall Retreat at Camp Henry

“A Time to Be”

A time to pause.

A time to rest.

A time to reflect.

A time to be with others.

A time to be alone.

A time to be in nature.

A time to be present.

A time to honor fall.

If you desire some time, consider marking this weekend for “A Time to Be.”

Our fall retreat begins with dinner at 6pm on Fri. Oct. 2 and ends Sat. by 3:00pm. Participants will stay in cabins at Camp Henry. Cabins are heated and have mattresses on bunk beds participants bring their own bedding. We will only be using the lower bunks. There are comfortable individual showers and communal sinks. The cost for the retreat is $60 and includes accommodations and 3 meals.

Gerald May talks about the “power of the slowing,” letting our minds and our bodies slow, finding places and rhythms to help us slow our pace to be present both to God and to ourselves.  Being in spaces such as Camp Henry help us to do so. We will enjoy both communal time together and will keep a stretch of time on Saturday to spend on the grounds of camp by ourselves.

All are welcome.
