We’re excited to offer our next WPA Bus Trip on May 21, 2025
We will visit Claybanks Pottery, nestled in the pristine forest along Lake Michigan’s shoreline, to find a family of
artists creating handmade, high fire stoneware pottery for both decorative and functional use.
We will then visit Country Dairy for a tour and lunch! We will see their farm-to-table process during our tour and enjoy lunch “down at the farm”!
Next we will enjoy a Mac Wood’s Dune Ride. Since 1930, Mac Wood’s has provided you with a safe, fun-filled 7 mile dune tour ride lasting about 40 minutes. You are hosted by knowledgeable drivers who understand the history and environment of the constantly changing sand mountains. A Mac Wood’s Dune Ride is a thrilling experience! To climb to the summit and see sand spread in all directions. Such a vast panorama is breathtaking! Glide down the sweeps into the valleys, drive past sparkling Silver Lake, and see Lake Michigan’s lovely beach!
The bus will depart Westminster at 8:15 a.m. on May 21 and return around 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
